Abstract

The author tries to expose the stylistic development of N. Kupreyanov’s graphic works in order to identify the main periods of his work. The interpretation of drawings is based on Kupreyanov’s letters and memories of his contemporaries. This helps to compose an accurate idea of his artistic world view and theoretical convictions.
