Оценка состояния и реставрация нидерландских атласов, поврежденных ярь-медянкой

Коллекция западноевропейских гравированных атласов XVI–XVIII веков в Российской национальной библиотеке уникальна как по размеру и репертуару авторов, так и по количеству единиц хранения. Здесь собрано более 400 томов шедевров мировой картографии. Высокая историческая и художественная ценность этой коллекции делает проблему ее сохранности чрезвычайно актуальной. Сохранность коллекции западноевропейских гравированных атласов и создание базы данных сохранности показало, что ранее выполненный комплекс консервационных мероприятий обеспечивает хорошую сохранность документов, позволяет прогнозировать состояние отдельной единицы и коллекции в целом, организовать научную и выставочную деятельность с минимальным риском повреждения документов.
