О семантике декора клазоменского саркофага из Государственных музеев Берлина

В некрополях ионийских полисов на западном побережье Малой Азии были обнаружены терракотовые расписные саркофаги, вошедшие в историю искусства под названием «клазоменские». Их изучение началось еще в конце XIX века, однако вопросы, касающиеся значения росписей, остаются предметом научных дискуссий по сей день. В данной статье предлагается семантическое прочтение росписей клазоменского саркофага из античного собрания Берлина, принадлежащего, согласно известной классификации Р. М. Кука, группе Альбертинум (510–470 гг. до н. э.). Авторы видят свою задачу в том, чтобы выявить принципы смыслового сопряжения образов, которые, как показывает анализ, объединяются в целостную декоративную и семантическую структуру.
