“The Raising of Lazarus” icon from the State Russian Museum in the context of development of Late Byzantine art

The paper is devoted to the icon of “The Raising of Lazarus” from the State Russian Museum and the problem of its dating. The author gives a brief description of the views of other researchers and, on the basis of stylistic and iconographic analysis of the composition, relying on a range of similar monuments (icons and mural painting), proposes a new dating to the end of the first quarter of the 15th century.
