Abstract

The article discusses the typological features of the iconostasis ensemble in the church of Pope Clement at Pyatnitskaya street in Moscow made in baroque style using rococo elements. Th e problem of authorship of the iconostasis deserves special attention as well as the particular placement of icons in the iconostasis and its dating. Th e author discusses some new archival documents related to this iconostasis and to the church of Pope Clement.
